Opportunities
Nebraska Acro Arts offers students more than weekly classes. Throughout the season, dancers and athletes have opportunities to perform, compete, and grow as part of a larger artistic community. The program emphasizes performance quality, teamwork, leadership, and confidence both on and off the stage.
Acro Showcase
One of the highlights of the year is the annual Acro Showcase held each fall, where students perform themed routines featuring acro dance, rhythmic gymnastics, partnering, flexibility, tumbling, and theatrical storytelling. Students work throughout the season to bring choreography and characters to life in a full-stage production experience.
Acro Team
Students may also participate in the Acro Team program as part of company opportunities through the school. Acro Team members train at a higher level of commitment and represent the program through showcase performances, community events, and competitions throughout the season. Team training helps dancers develop advanced technique, artistry, leadership, and performance experience while building strong friendships and teamwork skills.
Acro Olympics
Another favorite tradition is the Acro Olympics, typically held in February. This event brings students together for skill-based competitions designed to celebrate hard work, sportsmanship, and community in a fun and encouraging environment.
